While I'm not sure I will be able to attend (and thus don't expect my thoughts to have a whole lot of weight), I'd be interested in learning more about using Java to make Minecraft mods. I don't actually have Minecraft, so a video/broadcast would be ideal.
I'd also be interested in seeing more about how to build custom avatars, buildings, and interactive thingies in Second Life. Both bringing in models and scripting would be ideal. Again, low commitment from me so I'd like a video/broadcast so I don't have to actually set up SL at this stage.
(I realize I can probably learn both of these things elsewhere as well, but having a demo in a nice condensed format would make it easier for me to take a look without committing too much of my limited time.)
No worries, just thought I'd toss the idea out there. I've finally reached the point where there are so many things I *want* to look at, but I just don't have time for everything. (And I totally feel like a slacker for asking that someone else do the research for me...but it could easily be years before I get the time myself.)
