Last year I had an idea that a number of motivated individuals would be interested in getting together and creating a "Great Big MOOC Book". It is a tentative title and I used it because I thought it would be catchy.
I publicized it a bit, but it didn't really catch on. I am still hoping that we can get enough people together to author some evidence-based and research-based chapters for Massive Online Open Courses (connectivist courses like this one, not courses like Corsera or Udacity - although those may be later chapters).
I have made some chapter suggestions, but if you have more ideas feel free to jot them down, add your name and contact info in chapters you are interested in participating and maybe we can get enough people interested in doing this (and actually doing it!). My thought was that we could have it free online, but if we produce something of good quality we can get it published through some arrangement with Athabasca U.
Thanks for posting the links :) Inge and I are in the same research collaboration team so I know that she posts to Learning Solutions. I had submitted an article last month to Bill Brandon for LSM on Being Successful in a MOOC. I haven't heard back yet. :-/
