After looking through the numerous resources and links, then more resources and links on those links, I am amazed at what's out there and how cool education can be. My realization that I have so much to learn in this area is a little scary, but also exciting. I'm hoping to be able to keep up, but have already learned (or at least experienced) so much in such a short period of time. Now.....how to use it as we move forward.
Not an atypical reaction to a MOOC. Connectivism really allows for a flood of information that we hope this MOOC will provide. But by being in this type of learning environment, the hope is that connectivism principles will be used.
* Ability to see connections between fields, ideas, and concepts is a core skill.
* Decision-making is itself a learning process. Choosing what to learn and the meaning of incoming information is seen through the lens of a shifting reality. While there is a right answer now, it may be wrong tomorrow due to alterations in the information climate affecting the decision.
