I am happy to find this group and cannot wait to learn and share. I am the captain of a group in Edmodo called Education Gamification that has over 1000 teachers world-wide. We have been diving into the world of gamification and designing virtual worlds while figuring out the best ways to "game up" our classrooms.
Interested? Here is our join the group link - http://edmodo.com/join/5c09b591c1b302c4c442780a0f51f5ae

YAY Mr. Daley!!! Who knows you may find that you like the PC gaming experience from this. And let me tell you World of Warcraft is seriously habit forming. Looking forward to reading your insights!

I used to play more PC game when they were single player/first person shooter, etc., I like games with goals and challenges to meet, that is why I am having some problem with Minecraft, which we will go into in the fall, I keep saying what is the level of play, the objective, how do I gear up. Hard when it is open building, same with Second Life, I don't play that enough to have a life, probably too busy in this one LOL
