Yes, I really enjoy playing Dance Dance Revolution...the music gets on my nerves, though.

I usually play puzzle and logic games: non-digital favorites include Mastermind and Quarto, while Incredible Machine and Machinarium are digital favorites.

But most recently, I have become passionate about location-based games...games in museums, games in the streets, geocaching in the woods. These are the games I want to make, as well. I am currently using ARIS (Augmented Reality and Interactive Storytelling), a location-based game development platform being developed at the University of Wisconsin, to make a collaborative game for 4th-6th graders who visit a hands-on science center on a class field trip.

I am glad you posted to this Deelynn, I am really interested in the games in museums, and the other geolocation games. I do want to learn more about interactive storytelling. I do like Mastermind and Quarto also. I am interested in making a game for cultural anthropology, maybe kind of a "cultural bingo" . . . haven't gotten much further than that, it might turn into a cultural scavenger hunt. . . at least we are thinking! :)
