Hello,

My name is LeeDale and I lurk (and learn).

I am a veteran of GamesMOOCs past and have enjoyed watching others level up and achieve enlightenment (and get badges!). I'm fairly sure that the amount of content this MOOC generates doubles the size of the Internet. :-)

I am a member of Inevitable Betrayal ("We got your back!") as Nikki and Cognitive Dissonance as Linyah in WoW. I am LeeDale Shepherd in Second Life and OpenSim. I am Leedale in Minecraft. I'm also a Clash of Clans addict and I play a fair amount of Order & Chaos on my iPad.

I'm a part-time faculty member in Colorado at a Community College, as well as an administrator for an online educational service.

You'll see me probably quite a lot in these forums this summer! I'm interested in the technical side of things, virtual environments, graphic/web design, and nerdy stuff.

Welcome!

Such a pleasure to be able to learn with you in the gamesMOOC again, Leedale! ^_^

I look forward to your input on the technical side of things and hope you enjoy reading or hearing some of the other aspects others have to share. =3 I'm sure that you'll be great at engaging all that we have to offer this summer. ^^

I think we had a great discussion in the last MOOC about lurking as learning to include the idea of a lurking badge. It is something we could consider.

I think that is an awesome idea! I'm quite outgoing in a f2f context, but it's taken me some time to feel comfortable expressing myself on the internet. Lurking really helps me frame the context of the community or conversation that I'm participating in. :)

Hi Trevyn and Therese! (and Kae...of course)

I am a firm believer in lurking in some situations. I'm fairly sure that if they handed out badges for lurking, I'd probably lurk at the ceremony. :-D

Thank you for the welcome!
