I will be seeing a lot of you in the discussions, have about typed off my fingerprint ridges but back for this Summer MOOC. I remember being so excited about this MOOC last summer and have really enjoyed the journey. I have spent a lot of time in Minecraft this last year as well as my own gaming. I recently spent time at the

Third Eye GamesI teach part time at a local community college in Colorado. I am an anthropologist and teach Cultural Anthropology and Introduction to Chicano/a Studies, as well as Anthropology of Religion and Anthropology of Folklore. I am a greying-techorat and have had an interest in game theory since the early 1970s. I play StarTrekOnline as "Dilt" a female Ferengi captain of the Starship Scordatura. I do have an avatar in Second Life (Mouze Warwillow) and one in WarHammer (Diltronic). I play Magic the Gathering online as well as playing Call of Duty and Minecraft.
The connective nature of this MOOC has allowed me interface with so many like-minded educators, I am actually re-designing my classes this summer to incorporate more exciting events into my classroom (online and F2F).
As we enter this first week I am researching guilds, and have recently joined one that isn't so much a guild for Minecraft as it is a "connectvist" site and accesses different server worlds, I am anxious to try the one that is a huge prison, apparently you try to behave so they let you out! Should be fun.
So how can I help you? You can message me or post here, I am on the MOOC on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
