A new, open-enrollment group is forming in SecondLife™ to promote collaboration in the planning and design of educational content. The Basic Skills Gauntlet (BSG), a sort of newbie-obstacle-course, is the first collaborative design and has a target date for completion of July 21...just in time for the VWBPE conference. You are invited to jam.
Please contact Azwaldo Villota in world with any questions about the BSG design project or the collaborative design group.
I have some activities I created for new users to help them get comfortable moving around and controlling their avatar. I joined the BSG group in SL and was impressed with the work already accomplished. I'd love to see the same idea replicated in OpenSim on Reaction Grid or Jokaydia Grid.

I would like to see that, too. An open-source project, the Basic Skills Gauntlet is also being designed for portability and easy install. The fun will come when the basic design is modified, with more-skilled designers re-mixing the basic model.
I have recently installed OpenSimulator locally (not yet connected to a grid). Do you have land in ReactionGrid or Jokaydia? Or, do you know others who do and might be interested? What can be done to bring it into the OpenSimulator-verse?
